This blog is written by and about a guy with an incurable form of cancer. My purpose here isn't to say "woe is me", but to give insight about my thoughts, perspectives, and experiences throughout this adventure. My name is Andre. My partner's name is Ed. I intend to publish on a pretty regular basis here, but Ed might occasionally pop in with his thoughts too.

Well, I saw the bird.
That poor nurse - she doesn't know what she is dealing with! You look good as a pachyderm!
What kind of "bird strike" were you wishing to avoid? Looks to me like the birds were fully functional!!! At least you were not in flight over the Hudson River when you did that! Sending you lots of good wishes for a successful flight! Annie
What the heck is that hood for? You having secret meetings with Control?
What are the tentings for? I've never heard of that before. That plane landed very close to where I was with my hubby at his bone marrow biopsy. The airport they were gonna try to land in over here in Jersey is so close to where we were that the planes bank right there to line up for the runway. I thought, it stinks having this biopsy done by a doctor who does not have the word "gentle" in his vocabulary but when we came out to see the TV showing this plane just water landed and had been headed our way,
I thought, "it really would have sucked if the plane hit the building while having this procedure done." You know you're having a bad day then.
