Thank you for posting the article about our "George," aka William Anderson. I did get a chance to speak with him on two occasions. He told me the golden orb went with him everywhere and compared it to the soccer ball that Tom Hanks adopted in the movie, Cast Away, from several years ago.
When last we spoke I was pretty out of it due to my recent transplant. He commiserated with me and introduced me to his son who was accompanying him. He was definitely one of the characters at the SCCA.
Thank you for sharing this story Andre. FL kept asking if you had found out yet about the man with the golden egg.
