I live in Australia and came upon your Blog by accident. My mother has MM and was told she had 3-6 months. She was 62 at time of diagnosis. She has fought all the way and is coming up to 7 years with this disease. We question absolutely everything and I research every day (if you dont stand up for yourself no one will) so well done and this just to let you know you can survive with this disease. Mum has had stem cell transplant, thalidomide, Velcade, chemo radiotherapy etc she has rods and pins but we have cruised on the QE2 and in Feb QM2,so plan and live your life. All the best
